Fedor, undoubtably, is a legend in MMA. I think that Royce Gracie is a legend in the sport of MMA too. I admit that he did not invent MMA, nor did he invent the art that helped to usher in the age of MMA, but it was him fighting in that cage, and his participation in the sport is legendary. When talking about belts given to represent a promotion in rank in BJJ Royce has said that ' the belt only covers two inches of your waist. You have to cover the rest!' I believe that in the early UFC fights he did just that. By doing so, he demonstrated for a whole generation of future MMA fighters, and wannabes, from around the world (although I don't know about Brazil) what the sport could be. I only didn't mention O Mito Helio Gracie, because he never participated in the sport called 'MMA', but...
